LEAD Facilitates Exchange Meeting Between BIE, VUB-MILO, and MMU on Teacher Education

On July 5, 2024, under the facilitation of the LEAD Academic Network, representatives from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) Multidisciplinary Institute for Teacher Education (MILO) in Belgium, the Beijing Institute of Education in China, and Mountain of the Moon University in Uganda held an exchange meeting at VUB, Belgium.

Maggy Brusselmans, who coordinates the internships of student-teachers in MILO's teacher education program and mentors students in the educational master for languages, provided detailed information on how teacher training was organized in Flanders.

Prof. Dr. Wouter Cools, the coordinator of the Educational Master in Physical Education, elaborated on the current status of physical education in primary and secondary schools in Flanders, offering valuable insights into the latest developments in this field.

The meeting featured fruitful discussions among all participants, who shared their experiences and insights from their respective institutions in the field of teacher education. This exchange not only strengthened the cooperation between the three institutions but also laid a solid foundation for future international collaborations.

LEAD学术联盟促进国际交流：比利时、中国和乌干达教师教育交流会议成功举行

2024年7月5日，在LEAD学术联盟的推动下，比利时布鲁塞尔自由大学（VUB）多学科教师教育研究所（MILO）、中国北京教育学院和乌干达月亮山大学的代表在比利时布鲁塞尔自由大学进行了交流会议。

来自MILO的学生教师实践协调员Maggy Brusselmans在会上介绍了佛兰德斯地区教师培训的组织情况。她还分享了如何在教育硕士项目中指导学生进行教学。

此外，教育硕士体育教育协调员Wouter Cools教授还详细介绍了佛兰德斯地区小学和中学体育教育的现状，为与会者提供了关于比利时体育教育发展的宝贵信息。

所有参会者进行了富有成果的讨论，分享了各自机构在教师教育领域的经验和见解。此次会议不仅加强了三国教师教育机构之间的合作关系，也为未来的国际合作奠定了坚实的基础。
