GOVERNANCE

Governing Committee
The Governing Committee is the decision-making body of the Network. It is composed of nine representatives from institutional members and individual members. The Chair and Vice Chair of the Governing Committee will be elected by all Governing Committee members. The Governing Committee membership is valid for two academic years and can be renewed.
The Governing Committee is responsible to:

Approve and amend the annual work plan of the LEAD Academic Network proposed by the Executive Committee.

Approve the operational procedures within the LEAD Academic Network.

Make decisions regarding membership-related issues.

Make decisions regarding the Advisory Committee and Executive Committee members by simple majority voting.
-
Approve the annual report of the LEAD Academic Network and suggest amendments.

Take up the responsibility for the ethical behavior of the LEAD Academic Network.

Advisory Committee
​
The Advisory Committee is the expert committee of the Network. The Advisory Committee is composed of seven to ten experts, proposed by the Executive Committee in consultation with the members, and approved by the Governing Committee. The Chair and Vice Chair of the Advisory Committee will be elected by all Advisory Committee members. The Advisory Committee membership is valid for two academic years and can be renewed.

The Advisory Committee is responsible to:

Advise on the academic content that shapes the mission and the activities of the Network.

Advise on research ideas, topics, academic leadership development, thematic orientations, and new cooperations.

Advise on publication trends, channels, and academic networking opportunities.

Advise on institutional, group, and individual cooperation opportunities and channels.

Executive Committee
​
The Executive Committee is responsible for the daily operations of the Network. The Executive Committee is composed of seven members, including one director, one co-director, one deputy director, one research coordinator, one training coordinator, one networking coordinator, and one administrative coordinator. The Executive Committee membership is valid for two academic years and can be renewed.

The Executive Committee is responsible to:

Manage the daily operations of the Network.

Propose the annual work plan to the Advisory Committee and the Governing Committee.

Execute the work plan activities.

Conduct administration and management of the Network.
-
Organize annual meetings.
-
Manage membership-related administration and communications.
-
Coordinate internal and external communications.
-
Support and execute other powers or duties approved by the Governing Committee.
